The main focus for Sales Arborist is to service and cultivate an assigned territory. This will involve visiting clients and prospects to diagnose and monitor landscapes, as well as estimating job costs and providing quotes. In this position you will be using your specialized training in diagnosing and treating diseases and/or infestations that are occurring on a client’s lawn. What a day is like:
As a General Tree Care Groundsman, you will be part of a crew that provides high quality tree care to our clients. You will be involved in all aspects of pruning, removals, cable bracing and other concepts related to tree care. You’ll be able to safely operate all equipment and perform the assigned job tasks while also providing excellent service to our clients.
What kind of person are we looking for? Someone with:
- Demonstrated knowledge of proper use of General Tree Care equipment
- Previous landscaping experience who can demonstrate proper lifting techniques and proper procedures for carrying and stacking brush on a client’s property
- Basic knowledge of common tree identification a plus
- Knowledge of two to three basic knots plus Weaver Knot, Clove Hitch Knot, and Gilhooligan Knot
- Demonstrated knowledge of proper pruning equipment including hand snips, pruner, pole saw etc.
- Valid Driver’s license, CDL a plus

Equipment Operator/Stump Grinder

This very unique position is a combination of a Grapple Truck Operator and a Tree Climber. As a Grapple Operator, you’re performing the final thorough pick up and safe haul away of debris from our job sites. When performing the role of General Tree Care, you’ll be the muscle of our operation. These industrial athletes work together to provide high-quality tree care, helping to maintain and preserve the overall health of our clients’ landscapes.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work outside and visit beautiful properties in your community. You’ll apply your expertise in safely driving and operating our Grapple Truck, as well as climbing, pruning, and safety to ensure the health and well-being of each client’s landscape.

What a day is like:
If you like variety, this may be the perfect role for you. Your focus will be to work independently at times, and together at other times on a General Tree Care crew providing high quality tree care to our clients. You will be involved in all aspects of pruning, removals, cable bracing and other concepts related to tree care. There may be times where you do General Tree Care all day, and other times where you’re driving and picking up logs and debris all day. You’ll be able to safely operate all equipment and perform the assigned job tasks while also providing excellent service to our clients.
What kind of person are we looking for? Someone with:
- Experience driving and operating a Grapple Truck
- Valid Commercial Driver’s license
- Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals
- Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species’ characteristics
- Ability to climb without spurs
- Experience with tree care safety standards
- Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation
- Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck)
WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON. IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE DRIVING/OPERATING A GRAPPLE, WE CAN TRAIN ON THE TREEWORK. IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE DOING TREEWORK, WE CAN TRAIN ON THE GRAPPLE.
